At our discretion, we may determine certain audiobooks aren't eligible for pre-order/on-sale. Deadlines for pre-order with on-sale requests Requests for pre-order/on-sale can be made to ACX support as soon as the title is ‘In Production’ on ACX. Rights holders must submit requests at least 1 week prior to submitting the final audiobook to quality assurance. Audiobooks must be submitted to quality assurance at least 2 weeks before the pre-order start date. The pre-order start date must be at least 2 weeks before the release date, but may be longer. If there is not enough time to allow for a 2-week pre-order period, we will honor your on-sale date without the pre-order period, or you may elect to move your on-sale date out to accommodate a 2-week pre-order period. Deadlines for on-sale requests only Requests for a specific on-sale date can be made to ACX support as soon as the title is ‘In Production’ on ACX. Review process Before we create the detail page on Audible, we review your audiobook to ensure it meets our requirements. We encourage you to request your on-sale date early in the production process in the event changes are needed to meet these requirements.We cannot honor pre-orders/on-sale and or on-sale date requests if an audiobook misses the above submission deadlines, or if the project does not meet our submission requirements.If you need to adjust your pre-order/on-sale date due to delays or resubmission, please contact support as soon as possible.
