Only audiobooks produced through ACX will be eligible to receive earnings through the Bounty Referral Program. ACX clients in the US, UK, Canada, and Ireland are eligible to earn bounties using their tagged URLs. However, tagged URLs can only be generated for Australia, Canada, US, UK, France, and German marketplaces. Bounties earned are reported monthly in your royalty report.

How does the Bounty Referral Program work?

As an audiobook creator on ACX, you now have a valuable opportunity to boost your income through the Bounty Referral Program. By following a few simple steps, you can earn lucrative bounties for each new Audible member you refer:

• Start by publishing or producing your audiobook through ACX, then access your personalized referral links on the Marketing Dashboard.
• Customize these links to target specific geographic markets, and distribute them widely using the helpful tips from the ACX Blog.
• Maximize your earnings by sharing your referral links on your website, social media, email signatures, and newsletters.

How much do rights holders and producers earn under the Bounty Referral Program?

If you produced your audiobook under our pay for production terms or uploaded your completed audiobook directly to ACX, you’ll earn $75 each time your referral link is used to make the first purchase by a new Audible member who has kept their membership for at least 61 days.

If you produced your audiobook under our royalty share terms, you’ll earn $50 each time your referral link is used to make the first purchase by a new Audible member who has kept their membership for 61 days. In addition, your producer will receive $25.

If the rights holder of your royalty share project promotes their URL and earns a bounty, the producer will still earn $25.

When will I receive payment for my royalties and bounties?

Payments are usually sent in the last week of the month following the end of the billing period. Please keep in mind that Audible will only send payment if the earnings for a given month are greater than $10.00. In the event that earnings are less than $10.00, the balance will carry over to the following month. If you continue to earn less than $10.00 in an individual month, the balance will carry over until you have earned $50.00, at which time payment will be sent for the cumulative balance.

What qualifies as a bounty purchase?

A qualified bounty purchase is a:

• purchase of the ACX creator’s audiobook by a customer who becomes a first-time member of Audible by accepting the Audible Service Terms and Conditions of Use and remains a member in good standing for at least 61 consecutive days; and
• the Audible member either:
  
  • accessed the Audible website using the URL to become an Audible member and subsequently purchased the ACX creator’s audiobook as their first purchase as an Audible member; or
  • accessed the Audible website using the URL to purchase the ACX user’s audiobook as their first purchase as an Audible member.

Note: Only one audiobook purchase per Audible member may be eligible for a bounty.

How do I access my bounty referral links?

The Bounty Referral Program allows you to start promoting your book and earning more money through ACX’s affiliate program. To access your bounty referral links, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your ACX account.
2. Select My Projects in the navigation menu.
3. Scroll and select on the Completed tab.
4. Select the 3-dot menu (...), then select Get Bounty URLs. A pop-up window will appear that provides you the option to pick which marketplace you'd like the URL for, and the URL.
5. Select Copy URL. You can start sharing this link with your listeners.
