TitleACX User Conduct and Content Acceptance GuidelinesURL Nameacx-user-conduct-and-content-acceptance-guidelinesAnswerIn addition to the legal contracts you agree to when using ACX and the Audio Submission Requirements, your audiobooks and other content (such as book titles, cover art and product descriptions) must adhere to these conduct and content guidelines. All works posted on ACX are subject to Amazon's Content Guidelines, and we reserve the right to make judgments about whether content is appropriate and to choose not to offer it. We may also terminate your ACX account if you do not adhere to these guidelines. Users should pay careful attention to whether proposed audiobook projects adhere to these guidelines before entering into contracts with another party. Illegal and Infringing Content We take violations of laws and proprietary rights very seriously. It is your responsibility to ensure that your content doesn't violate laws or copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Just because content is freely available does not mean you are free to copy and sell it. Duplicative Content While some listeners enjoy listening to a book more than once, they will be disappointed to find that content repeated in another book he or she has already purchased. Sections or entire audiobooks cannot be duplicated between audiobook projects. Cancellation and Rejection Sometimes, audiobook contracts are cancelled, or audio files are rejected for having too many issues. In extreme cases where contract cancellations and file rejections repeat frequently, we may ask you to evaluate your projects before continuing to use ACX. Public Domain and Other Non-Exclusive Content Some types of content, such as public domain content, may be free to use or licensed for use by more than one party. However, we will not accept content that is freely available on the web unless you are the exclusive copyright owner of that content. Availability at Amazon To provide the best experience for ACX Producers and Audible listeners, we require that the eBook edition you claim for each of your projects remains available for sale at Amazon during production and through the length of your distribution with Audible. Amazon Account Status The Amazon account you use to log in to ACX needs to remain in good standing for you to claim titles and publish projects to Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. In addition, any accounts you hold with other Amazon teams (e.g., KDP, Amazon Associates) must remain in good standing. If any applicable account is closed or suspended by another Amazon team, you may be subject to account closure at ACX, which may include the removal of your audiobooks from sale. Multiple Accounts Any additional account determined to be created to circumvent guidelines, promote competitive advantages, or mislead the ACX community will be disabled. Creation of duplicate accounts may result in disabling of all related accounts. The ACX Message Center The ACX message center is for appropriate communications about ongoing or potential ACX projects only. Using the ACX message center to send advertisements or solicitations for external web sites, contests, paid service offerings, contributor or customer reviews, or other solicitations to other ACX users, or requests for ACX users to be your potential customers will not be tolerated. Targeted Abuse We do not tolerate users who engage in targeted abuse or harassment towards other users on ACX. Poor Customer Experience Titles for sale on Audible should provide a positive customer experience. We reserve the right to determine whether content provides a poor customer experience and remove that content from sale.
