How do I become an ACX Approved Producer When considering new ACX Approved Producers, ACX looks at each producer's entire body of work, including indicators like overall production quality, performance skills, customer reviews, commitment to production deadlines, as well as whether they've recently had any audio rejections by QA. We consider these indicators because an ACX Approved Producer not only guarantees a quality performance and production, but also provides a high quality experience for rights holders. To qualify as an ACX Approved Producer, you must meet the following requirements: You must have created a minimum of 25 titles.The average length of your titles must exceed 3 hours.Your average performance rating must be 4.5 or higher.You must have produced at least one release on ACX in the past 24 months. We review all ACX producers biannually. If we determine that you meet the requirements of an ACX Approved Producer, we will contact you by email. We will also include a badge on your profile that is searchable for rights holders seeking a high quality production and professional collaboration experience. Once I’m flagged as an AAP, do I keep my badge forever? You will retain your AAP badge as long as you meet the requirements and your account remains in good standing with ACX. If we find that your account no longer meets our AAP requirements during our biannual review process, your badge will be removed, but, in most cases, we will notify you in advance and you will be eligible for reconsideration in the next biannual round of account reviews. Other factors that may put your AAP badge at risk include frequent QA rejections or violations of our ACX policies. ACX may award or maintain AAP badges in some cases, even when not all criteria are met.
