How can I find my ebook's ASIN?

To claim your title on ACX, you will need to provide the ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) of your ebook. You can find it on Amazon.com or Audible. This means that you will need to have your book published as an ebook on Amazon.com before you start this process.

Find your ebook’s ASIN on Amazon.com:

1. On Amazon.com and search for your book’s name.
2. Select the "Kindle" version of your ebook on the product page.
3. Scroll down to the "Product Details" section. You'll find your ASIN listed there.

Find your audiobook’s ASIN on Audible
You can follow these steps to locate the ASIN on Audible if your audiobook is available for sale or preorder on Audible:

1. On Audible.com, search for your audiobook.
2. Select the title to open the Product Details Page.
3. In the website URL, locate the identification number that starts with B0___.“ The Audible ASIN will immediately follow the backslash behind the title name. 

How can I claim my title on ACX?

Follow these steps to claim your title on ACX:

1. Log in to your ACX account.
2. Select Claim Your Title.
3. Search for your book title by entering the ebook ASIN.
4. Select Claim title next to your book.
5. Select either:
   • Work with a Producer to narrate and record my audiobook project: select this option if you want to find a producer.
   • Use my own audio files: Select this option if you want to narrate your own book, or if you already have audio files such as from a previous production rights or offline contract with narrator.
6. Select Claim title.
7. Review and accept the Book Posting Agreement and License and Distribution Agreement.
8. Fill out the Title details, Chapter names, and Distribution sections. If you selected to hire a producer, you will also need to fill out the Audition information section.
9. Select Post to ACX to complete the process. You will then proceed with either opening the title for audition if hiring a producer or start uploading your files if you are doing DIY. 

I am having trouble finding my book on ACX

ACX has security measures in place to prevent fraud and copyright infringement. This means you can only start the audiobook creation process if your ebook is already available on sale on Amazon.com.

If you can't find your book or have not published your book, you will not be able to locate your book on ACX. We recommend you working with KDP (https://kdp.amazon.com/) to publish your ebook and then claim your title on ACX.

How can I unclaim my title on ACX?

If you wish to completely remove the book from your ACX account (which will remove all auditions), follow these steps.

1. Sign in to your ACX account, then select My Projects from the navigation menu.
2. Select the Titles Not Posted tab.
3. Select the 3 dot menu (...), then select Remove title from ACX.
