As a rights holder, you want to avoid getting your cover art rejected by the ACX’s quality assurance team. Review the ACX cover requirements before you upload, change, and submit your audiobook’s cover art. The quality check takes up to 10 business days.

What are the cover art size and file requirements?

Ensure that your cover art meets the following criteria:

• Cover art must be squared, filling the entire 1:1 ratio (Not rectangular).
• JPG, PNG, or TIF file format
• At least 2400 x 2400 pixels
• At least 72 dpi resolution
• 24-bit (True Color) minimum
• RGB color (not CMYK)
• File size cannot exceed 8 MB 

What are the ACX cover art requirements?

All cover art must clearly show the audiobook’s title and author name(s). Additionally, your cover art image should adhere to the following guidelines:

• No pixelated or blurry text
• No Audible branding like logos or badges
• No pornographic or offensive materials
• No watermarks or third-party copyright images
• No references to, nor photos or scans of physical media or other audio formats
• No references to competing marketplaces or external websites
• No references to running time or pricing
• No barcodes or QR codes
• No book jackets (front and back cover of the physical book)

What are the “Only from Audible” cover graphic requirements?

Audible may add an "Only from Audible" graphic to your cover art for exclusive distribution titles. This graphic goes on the lower right corner of your cover art.

• This graphic is added at Audible’s discretion for titles under exclusive distribution agreements.
• If the graphic interferes with your cover art, contact us with a revised image.
• Exclusive distribution titles will display the “Only from Audible” graphic on Audible, Amazon, and Apple Books. 
• The "Only from Audible" tag on the cover art will be placed 41% of the way from the edge of the cover in both the horizontal and vertical directions. For a 2400x2400 pixel cover image, this means the triangle will be positioned 984 pixels up from the bottom right corner (See an example of an acceptable cover art below).

Borders

This cover is not accepted because it has borders to make a rectangle into a square.

Incorrect Title

This cover’s title doesn't match the audiobook’s credited title.

Blurriness

This cover is blurry, which is not acceptable.

Physical Media & Box Sets

This cover depicts physical media, which is not allowed.
