Upload your finished files and see how they measure up to ACX's submission requirements for RMS, peak levels, bitrate, bitrate method, sample rate, mixed channels, duplicate files, and spacing. ACX Audio Lab does not detect issues such as noise floor or editing errors, so remember to conduct your own thorough review of your files before submitting finished audiobooks to ACX. Visit ACX Audio Lab to get started on using or for more information. How does the ACX audio analysis tool work? When you upload audiobook files, the tool will make available a detailed report with any specific errors to fix before submitting for review. Follow these steps to upload and analyze your audio files at ACX Audio Lab: Log in to ACX Audio Lab.On the landing page, select “Browse audio files” to upload a new audio file.Find the file you want to analyze and select “Open”.Once the ACX Audio Lab provides the results, select “Download” to download the issues in an excel file or select “Analyze another file” to upload a new file. Additional resources for recording, editing, mastering, encoding, and asset delivery can be found in articles at the ACX Blog and in video format at ACX University. Can I dispute the errors identified by the ACX audio analysis tool? No. While we are constantly working to evolve our technology to hone the capabilities of the audio analysis and other tools, we are confident in its accuracy and ability to detect common audio errors. Why was my audiobook rejected if ACX audio analysis did not show any errors? The audio analysis tool is an automated system and cannot detect all potential errors in an audio file. Issues such as editing, extraneous noise, and dynamics cannot yet be detected by the audio analysis tool and may be found during review by our quality assurance team after submission. Why does my Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) show different file measurements than the audio analysis tool? RMS values can be measured using multiple methods and there can be many variations between sound waves. As a result, RMS or peak readings may differ depending on your DAW, the plugin/meter used, and the reference wave used by the manufacturer when calibrating the statistics plugin.
