We also recommend you communicate with the producer using the ACX message center to discuss any delays and new due dates wherever possible. My producer has been unresponsive since starting our production. What can I do? First, email info@acx.com to let us know. We can reach out to the producer to encourage action. My producer submitted an audiobook that I suspect was created with text-to-speech technology. What do I do? Your submitted audiobook must be narrated by a human unless otherwise authorized. Any dispute between you and another ACX participant must be handled between the parties involved. How do I ask my producer to make changes? If the book has been sent to you to approve, you may follow these steps to request changes and unlock the project for your producer: Log in to your ACX account.Select In Production.Select the name of the book in blue.Select the Message producer button.You will see a message window appear where you may type your requested changes for the producer.Select Send. Once you send the message, the files will be unlocked and the project will be put back in your producer's control to make changes. How do I change my producer for an existing audiobook? In order to change the producer for an existing audiobook, you will need to start a brand new production on ACX. Before you do that, you will need to contact the ACX Support team at info@acx.com from the email address associated with you ACX account. For faster resolution, contact us using the email address listed in your ACX Account Settings. In your message, please let the ACX Support team know that you intend to rerecord the title and that you need to have the existing production archived, as well as ask for the title to be made claimable on ACX again. Once the support team confirms the production has been archived and the title is claimable, you will be able to start a new production with a new narrator. Note: Ratings and reviews are specific to a particular recording. Because you will be submitting a new recording and the existing ratings and reviews are not applicable to that recording, we are unable to transfer them to your new production.
